1991 NGC MS70 $5 Gold American Eagle

 $675

When considering early year Gold Eagles, many investors and collectors strive to acquire the pieces with very low populations such as this 1991 $5 piece. Notably, this year represented the final year the date included on the obverse would be expressed in Roman numerals. In subsequent years, the date would be shown in Arabic numerals. If you are looking to complete your roman numeral collection or complete your whole collection this pristine piece should be in your portfolio. This exquisite piece features a pristine field with razor-sharp devices. The details are incredibly crisp and well defined for a coin from 1991. There were just over 165,000 pieces produced by the US Mint and only 563 pieces have achieved the perfect Mint State 70 grade by NGC.

1907 PCGS MS63 $2.50 Gold Liberty CAC

 $900

The Gold Liberty Quarter Eagle is the longest-running in the series of $2.50 Gold coins produced by the Mint. The design was created by the revered Christian Gobrecht, the Chief Engraver for the Mint. An interesting fact about the Liberty Quarter Eagle, it did not receive the motto “In God We Trust” following the Civil War like some of the larger denominations with the same design. In 1902, the Mint produced over 133,000 Gold Quarter Eagles and and only 48 pieces have been stickered by the Certified Acceptance Corporation. CAC holds coins to a higher standard so collectors can be confident in the value of their pieces. They are a third party that verifies previously graded coins and award their sticker only to those coins that meet the standard for today’s selective buyer.

Discover Rare and Antique Coins

If you’re looking to buy rare coins, you’ve come to the right numismatic dealer! We proudly offer an extensive selection of low-population, commemorative, and antique numismatic coins for sale that will surely elevate even the most distinguished collections.

Numismatists use the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale to assess a coin’s condition. The Sheldon Coin Grading Scale runs from 0 to 70, with 70 being the highest or “perfect” grade.

An MS70 numismatic refers to a coin with no visible marks, even when examined with an eye loupe or magnifier. It will also have a bright color and exceptional strike and luster. MS69 and MS68 coins are nearly perfect, with small, light marks only showing upon close inspection.

Endeavor Metals Specializes in Numismatics

Endeavor Metals is a numismatic dealer that boasts an extensive catalog with many top-graded coins that are highly sought after by knowledgeable numismatists. If you don’t see the coin you’re looking for, please get in touch. We are often able to locate very specific coins for collectors by reaching out through our vast network of connections.

Why Invest in Numismatic Coins?

As a rare coin dealer that works with both novice and experienced coin collectors, we’re often asked about the advantages of numismatics as an investment vehicle. Of course, collecting rare coins is a rewarding hobby in its own right, but many investors do not realize the upside potential.

As long as you buy rare coins from a reputable numismatic dealer, you’re investing in a one-of-a-kind collectible, with numismatic coins having significant value beyond their precious metals content.

An extremely limited number of these coins is available on the market, especially in flawless condition. With time, coins are claimed and lost, naturally decreasing their supply. Coin collecting is certainly not going anywhere, so these rare treasures will always be highly desired. Own a piece of history with endless growth potential.

Talk to a Qualified Specialist Today

Because numismatic coins for sale are individually graded, market prices can vary widely. For this reason, it is imperative that you work with a reputable numismatic dealer. Endeavor Metals is a rare coin dealer that offers numismatics graded by the NGC and PCGS – established third-party grading services you can trust. All products are backed by our 7-day, 100% money-back guarantee. So place your order with confidence.

If you have any questions about the value of numismatic coins, precious metals, or precious metals IRAs, please contact us for a free consultation. Our in-house specialists are happy to provide personalized guidance specific to your investment goals. Buy rare coins to add beauty and value to your coin collection.

FAQs: Numismatic Coins

How can I find a reputable numismatic dealer?

Always make sure your rare coin dealer is vetted and trusted by both the numismatic community and established numismatic organizations.

Buy numismatic coins for sale confidently at Endeavor Metals, knowing we’re a Tier 1 dealer with an A+ accredited grade on the Better Business Bureau and a 4.9 Google star rating. We belong to numerous prestigious organizations, including the American Numismatic Association, and all our numismatics are graded by the NGC or PCGS.

What are the NGC and PCGS?

The NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) and PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) are long-established third-party grading services that certify the accuracy of each coin’s condition and, in turn, the numismatic coin’s value.

How are numismatic coins graded?

Every reputable numismatic dealer grades numismatics according to the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale. This 70-point scale takes a variety of factors into account, including strike, luster, surface preservation, coloration, and eye appeal.

A 70 is a perfect grade, meaning the coin is flawless even under close inspection with a magnifier.

Why should I invest in numismatics?

Besides being a rewarding hobby, collecting rare coins can be quite a profitable investment. Numismatic coins are only available in very limited quantities (especially those in pristine condition), and the available supply only decreases over time, naturally increasing numismatic coins’ value.

Are numismatics a good choice for precious metals investors?

Endeavor Metals is a numismatic dealer and a precious metals dealer. We strive to help our customers make informed decisions based on their specific financial goals.

If you want to own precious metals, we recommend purchasing bullion coins or bars rather than buying numismatic coins from a rare coin dealer. The value and cost of numismatics go beyond their precious metals content, so you’re going to pay more than the current spot price due to the coin’s rarity and market demand.

If you’re not sure which investment vehicle is right for you, give us a call for a free consultation.

What types of numismatics do you carry?

Endeavor Metals is a numismatic dealer that proudly stocks a wide variety of top-graded numismatics, including fan favorites and unique pieces that are difficult to find. We carry gold, silver, platinum, and palladium numismatic coins.

If you’re seeking a specific coin, we’re happy to reach out to our vast network of connections to help you find it. Buy numismatic coins for sale to start or upgrade your collection.
